A Theatre of Peace Production
The five core values or ways ‘to be’ more human stimulate the systems of change and the development of character. We use oracy, self-regulated learning and metacognition - strategies that have been shown by the Education Endowment Foundation to have the biggest impact of any intervention strategies.
Our partners at Management Drives have created the first young persons' values profiles for secondary school pupils in the U.K. to use this powerful and proven resource, usually used for coaching and training business leaders globally.
Central to our approach is the creative process of mythology and the power of story to provide a simple, memorable framework to support engagement, behaviour, change and outcomes. We use 'The Hero's Journey': a theme that is common to all cultures to build the characteristics of Bravery, Energy, Creativity, Openness, Motivation and self-Esteem (B.E.C.O.M.E).
Our partners at Undiscovered Country an eclect gathering of educators, artists and entrepreneurs all with the same shared purpose: to create the conditions for individuals and communities to become the best version of themselves.
The pedagogy and process of character education behind our approach is based on The Butterfly Model, which derives its name from chaos theory (The Butterfly Effect). This simple system with feedback provides a structure we refer to as The P.U.P.A.E: Process: Purpose, Understand, Plan, Act and Evaluate.
Our partners at Positive Peace Cambridge, led by founding directors Roy Leighton and Professor Hilary Cremin (the current head of the facutly of education at Cambridge University) draw from an international network of peace scholars.
